Sample Reports

See a complete assessment before you order one.

Twelve full reports across twelve industries. Every domain scored, every finding sourced, every fix ranked. No email, no form, no gate.

What's Inside

Every report is built from the same components.

Whatever your industry, the skeleton is identical. What changes is the evidence behind each part — and one component belongs to Validation alone, because it cannot be computed from answers.

📊

Eight domain scores

Each domain scored out of 10 with a blend weight, so you can see which gaps actually move your outcome and which are noise.

🔎

Sourced findings

Nothing is asserted without a citation. A Validation finding names the document it came from; an Assessment finding names the answer you gave. Neither states more than its evidence supports.

⚠️

Buyer Discount Risk band Validation only

Where you sit on a five-band scale, and what a buyer's advisor is likely to do with what they find. It derives from a verified overall score, so an Assessment does not carry it — that verdict is what documents buy you.

🗺️

Remediation roadmap

Every scored domain paired with the work required to close it, sequenced by impact and effort with realistic timelines.

🎯

Five priority fixes

The ranked starting point for your next 90 days, each tied to a specific finding rather than generic advice.

⚙️

Automation maturity

Scored separately and excluded from your readiness score — these are efficiency gains for you now, and value-creation levers for a buyer later.

The Portfolio

Find the one closest to your business.

These are complete, unedited reports — including the ones that scored badly. A sample that only shows healthy businesses isn't a sample, it's a brochure.

Twelve businesses.

Grouped by industry. Every company has all three views, and every one of them is fictional.

Professional Services

Financial Services / RIA

Halcyon Wealth Management

Fourteen years of client relationships held by one advisor, and two documents to prove any of it.

Accounting / CPA

Garrison Professional Advisors

A CPA practice where the relationships, the review sign-off and the succession plan all end with one person.

Legal

Mercer Law Partners

A law firm whose originating partner carries the referral sources, the institutional knowledge, and the firm’s domain personally.

Technology & IT Services

IT / MSP

Peachtree Integrated Systems

The strongest team in the set, selling on customer relationships nobody measures and a single-source supply line.

IT / MSP

Apex Managed Solutions

The owner is the vCIO on most accounts and closes all new business — and says so, unprompted.

IT / MSP

Pinnacle Integrated Solutions

Real earnings and almost no bench, with a data room the owner believes exists and would have to assemble.

Health Technology

Helix Health Technologies

The highest-scoring business here, and the most candid owner: ten written disclosures, more than any other sample.

Physical Security

Atlas Security Technologies

Recurring monitoring revenue, with the add-backs and the alarm portal both running through the owner personally.

Healthcare

Healthcare

Meridian Pediatric Group

The best-run business on this page, and still unscored by both tiers — two documents cannot carry it.

Trades & Commercial Services

Commercial Services

Cornerstone Cleaning Services

Contract-driven cleaning revenue across a diversified base, assessed on two documents — enough to describe, not enough to score.

HVAC / Trades

Blue Collar Systems

Healthy HVAC margins bottlenecked by procedures that live in the owner’s head rather than in writing.

Landscaping

Greenscape Landscape Services

Seasonal landscaping revenue on solid contracts, run with 1099 crews and books squared up once a year.

📝

These use synthetic data

Every company above is fictional. The documents behind the Validation reports were generated for demonstration, and the questionnaire answers behind the Assessment reports were written for demonstration. No real business data is represented anywhere on this page.

The scoring engine, rubric and report structure are the production versions — only the inputs are invented. Where an Assessment report reviewed no documents, that is the point of the tier rather than a gap in the sample.

Three ways into every company.

Each business below has all three. They are built from different evidence, and the difference is the product.

📝

Assessment — what the owner reports

Scored from the owner’s answers to every criterion in the rubric, with no documents read. Most criteria are held at a ceiling, because an answer alone cannot carry a top band, and no overall score is published — the engine withholds a headline when nothing is corroborated. It shows what a self-report reveals, including the places it cannot reach.

📁

Validation — what the documents show

Scored from a reviewed document set, with every finding naming the file it came from. Where the records support a criterion it scores on the full scale; where they do not, the report says so rather than inferring. It shows what your own materials substantiate.

⚖️

Highlights — where the two diverge

The pair side by side. Where an owner’s answer and their own written note point in different directions, the comparison shows both in the owner’s words and names the record that would settle it. Nothing is written by us — a company with nothing to flag shows nothing, which is what makes the others worth reading.
